TRUST NEEDS TO COME BACK IN THE WORK PLACE AND IN THE HEARTS OF SO MANY PEOPLE...ANGER FUELS THE BODY AND RELEASES STORED UP FUEL AND SOMETIMES ANGER MAY JUST BE VENTING AND A GOOD RELEASE, ITS WHEN ANGER GOES TO EXTREME AND ABUSE STEPS IN THEN PROBLEMS ARISE AND MANY NEED TO SEEK HELP.

If you do not feel yourself growing in your work and your life broadening and deepening, if your task is not a perpetual tonic to you, you have not found your place.
Orison Swett Marden

It's quite the epiphany the first time we realize that the past, and all its accompanying memories, are illusions and fantasies that the mind gets tangled up in. In those moments of realization (because it is hardly ever a once-and-forever kind of knowing) we discover that the only Reality that exists in actuality, is Now--this moment! It is so simple & yet such a surprisingly hard focus to hold onto. Hence, because the past is unreal we cannot control it, but we can act in the present because it is.

A real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken a new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.

Aggression is inherently destructive of relationships. People and ideologies are pitted against each other, believing that in order to survive, they must destroy the opposition.

Many marriages would be better if the husband and the wife clearly understood that they are on the same side.

Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition, is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have.

Free Parking

Outside the Bristol Zoo, in England, there is a parking Lot for 150 cars and 8 coaches, or buses. It was manned by a very pleasant attendant with a ticket machine charging cars £1 (about $1.40) and coaches £5 (about $7). This parking attendant worked there solid for all of 25 years. Then, one day, he just didn't turn up for work. "Oh well", said Bristol Zoo Management - "we'd better phone up the City Council and get them to send a new parking attendant . . . "

"Err . . . No", said the Council, "that parking lot is your responsibility."

"Err . . . No", said Bristol Zoo Management, "the attendant was employed by the City Council, wasn't he?"

"Err . . . No!" insisted the Council.

Sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain (presumably), is a man who had been taking the parking lot fees, estimated at £400 (about $560) per day at Bristol Zoo for the last 25 years. Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over £3.6 million ($7 million - or $280,000 every year for 25 years)!

And no one even knows his name?

My Sleeping Angel

My loss is great since you've been gone, I thought How will i ever get by?

You got sick, and drifted away, on bended knees i asked God Why.

Only with time will my heart mend, courage and strength i asked him to send

and the thought of you bringing it and watching over me.

When i close my eyes, you come to me, My dreams wont let you go.

Ill never forget what we had, Our rings held together with a boe.

" Go on with my life." You once said, those bitter sweet words go around in my head.

How my heart aches, at the thought of lettting you go.

Now again we are alone, and i lean against your stone.

watching on as the day goes bye.

Another sun set like the day that we met,

Heavens Magnificent colors paint the sky.

Honey, i must tell you, that i met some one new

Out of love for you I’m confessing,

I don’t know how far it will go, but there’s one thing i do know

It wont with out your blessing.

Now please don’t get mad, times for me have been sad.

I’m lonely, empty, and broken.

i don’t know what to do, i feel so untrue.

Because till death do us part we have spoken.

My Love, this is no lie I’m not saying good bye.

you always live deep in my heart,

A promise i give, for as long as i live

you will never be forgotten.

As my heart mends candles, and flowers ill always send

Anniversaries I'll never ignore.

and My Love. into the wind

A Kiss Ill send, to you For Ever More.

From the Book

The Emotions Of Devotion, Kenny Prince.

A nun and a priest

Were travelling across the desert and realised
halfway across that the camel they were using for transportation
was about to die. They set up a make-shift camp, hoping someone
would come to their rescue, but to no avail. Soon the camel died.
After several days of not being rescued, they agreed that they
were not going to be rescued. They prayed a lot (of course), and
they discussed their predicament in great depth. Finally the priest
said to the nun, 'You know, Sister, I am about to die, and there's
always been one thing I've wanted here on earth to see a woman
naked. Would you mind taking off your clothes so I can look at
you?' The nun thought about his request for several seconds and
then agreed to take off her clothes. As she was doing so, she
remarked, 'Well, Father, now that I think about it, I've never
seen a man naked, either. Would you mind taking off your clothes,
too?' With little hesitation, the priest also stripped. Suddenly
the nun exclaimed, 'Father! What is that little thing hanging
between your legs?' The priest patiently answered, 'That, my child,
is a gift from God. If I put it in you, it creates a new life. ''Well,'
responded the nun, 'forget about me. Stick it in the camel!

An Amish woman and her daughter

Were riding in an old buggy one cold, blustery January day. The daughter said to the mother, 'My hands are freezing cold,' The mother replied, 'put your hands between your legs. The body heat will warm them up.' So the daughter did, and her hands warmed up. The next day, the daughter was riding with her boyfriend, and he said, 'My hands are freezing cold.' The daughter replied, 'Put them between my legs, they'll warm up.' The next day, the boyfriend was again driving in the buggy with the Daughter. He said, 'My nose is freezing cold.'
The daughter replied, 'Put it between my legs. It will warm up,' He did, and his nose warmed up. The next day, the boyfriend was once again driving with the daughter and he said, 'My penis is frozen solid...' The next day, the daughter is driving in the buggy with her mother, and she says ' Mother, have you ever heard of a penis?' The slightly concerned mother says, 'Sure, why do you ask?' The daughter says, 'Well, they make one hell of a mess when they defrost!'

THINKING OF YOU...

When darkness awakens, my body settles gently into bed.
The events of my day race rapidly in my thoughts as I close my eyes.
Slowly, I am lulled into a peaceful sleep.

I hear vibrant music - so full of passion.
I feel the warmth of the sun’s rays that grace my presence.
I see kind, adoring eyes gazing back into mine.

The air is full happiness - so much laughter.
Soft caresses are exchanged.
At this moment, life could not be any more wonderful.

I have never felt so beautiful; as I do when I am with you.
I have finally found the respect and acceptance that I have yearned for.
I eagerly listen to inspirational dreams and goals
and know that I want to be the one to be there
when they are complete.

A thin line of love and friendship is crossed,
and two single souls find a home to share eternity.

Birds begin to proudly serenade the morning dawn.
Lonesome roads slowly progress into distinguished passageways.
Light peeps through my windows and I awaken to a new day.
I am ready to endure what the day has in store for me,
because I know that I am a king,
and I know extraordinary love when I sleep with you.

Good Bye, Mother

A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to the checkout line, but she got in front of him.

'Pardon me,' she said, 'I'm sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son, who I haven't seen in a long time.'

'That's a shame,' replied the young man, 'is there anything I can do for you?'

'Yes,' she said, 'as I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mother!' It would make me feel so much better.'

'Sure,' answered the young man. As the old woman was leaving, he called out, 'Good bye, Mother!'

As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total was $127.50. 'How can that be?' he asked, 'I only purchased a few things!'

'Your mother said that you would pay for her,' said the clerk.

The Broker

After reading the morning headlines about the recent stock market downturn, a high-powered executive trying to impress a client in his office, flipped on his intercom switch and barked to his secretary, "Miss Hunter, get my broker!"
The client was impressed until he heard the secretary's clear voice saying, "Yes, sir, stock or pawn?"

LITTLE LESSONS

An anonymous poem

THE love I bear you, dearest,

Would make the sweetest tale,

We'd sail upon a sea of bliss,

And I would lift the sail.

Our happiness would be sublime,

Surpassing tongue or pen.

You may as well learn things from me,

As to learn from other men.

"Oh! you have touched me--deeply--"

The young thing whispered low.

He pleaded: "Come! oh! come with me."

She could not answer: "No."

She said: "I'll be your pupil."

And softly added then:

"I may as well learn things from you

As to learn from other men."

They dined alone that evening,

And the young man got his wish.

They even broke the unwritten law

Of: "Nevaire before zee feesh."

At half-past three, next morning,

He staggered home again.

She had taught him tricks he never knew,

That she'd learned from other men.

One Sunday morning

while walking to church, Paddy asks Bridget, "Bridget, do we have sexual relations?" Bridget: "Not on my side of the family, we don't."

All Wellcome
Three couples, an elderly couple, a middle-aged couple and a young newly-wed couple wanted to join a church. The priest said, "We have special requirements for new parishioners. You must abstain from having sex for two weeks."
The couples agreed and came back at the end of two weeks.

The pastor went to the elderly couple and asked, "Were you able to abstain from sex for the two weeks?"
The old man replied, "No problem at all, Priest."
"Congratulations! Welcome to the church!" said the priest.

The priest went to the middle-aged couple and asked, "Well, were you able to abstain from sex for the two weeks?" The middle-aged man replied, "The first week was not too bad.
The second week I had to sleep on the couch for a couple of nights but, yep we made it."
"Congratulations! Welcome to the church," said the priest.

The priest then went to the newly-wed couple and asked, "Well, were you able to abstain from sex for two weeks?" "No Pastor, we were not able to go without sex for the two weeks," the young man replied sadly.
"What happened?" inquired the priest.

"My wife was reaching for a can of corn on the top shelf and dropped it" said the young man.
"When she bent over to pick it up, I was overcome with lust and took advantage of her right there."
"You understand, of course, this means you will not be welcome in our church" stated the priest.

"We know," said the young man. "We're not welcome at the Supermarket anymore either..."

THE ANSWER

by: Orrick Johns (1887-1946)

" CRYING cranes and wheeling crows...

I'll remember them," she said;

And I will be your own, God knows,

And the sin be on my head.

I will be your own and glad;

Lovers would be fools to care

How a thing is good or bad,

When the sky is everywhere...

"I will be your own," she said,

"Because your voice is like the rain,

And your kiss is wine and bread

Better than my father's grain."

So I took her where she spoke,

Breasts of snow and burning mouth...

Crying cranes and drifting smoke

And the blackbirds wheeling south.

Dearest, My Love,

Bernie was invited to his friend's home for dinner. Morris, the host, preceded every request to his wife by endearing terms, calling her Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc. Bernie looked at Morris and remarked, "That is really nice. After all these years that you have been married, you keep calling your wife those pet names." Morris hung his head and whispered, "To tell the truth, I forgot her name three years ago."

If you are married - don't bother .... its too late

FACTS OF LIFE.....................

Love is holding hands in the street
Marriage is holding arguments in the street

Love is dinner for 2 in your favourite restaurant
Marriage is a Chinese take-out

Love is cuddling on a sofa
Marriage is deciding on a sofa

Love is talking about having children
Marriage is talking about getting away from children

Love is going to bed early
Marriage is going to sleep early

Love is losing your appetite
Marriage is losing your figure

Love is sweet nothing in the ear
Marriage is sweet nothing in the bank

Love is a flickering flame
Marriage is a flickering television
In short, love is blind, marriage is an eye opener

PASSION

by: Charlotte Bronte (1816-1855)

SOME have won a wild delight,
By daring wilder sorrow;
Could I gain thy love to-night,
I'd hazard death to-morrow.

Could the battle-struggle earn
One kind glance from thine eye,
How this withering heart would burn,
The heady fight to try!

Welcome nights of broken sleep,
And days of carnage cold,
Could I deem that thou wouldst weep
To hear my perils told.

Tell me, if with wandering bands
I roam full far away,
Wilt thou to those distant lands
In spirit ever stray?

Wild, long, a trumpet sounds afar;
Bid me--bid me go
Where Seik and Briton meet in war,
On Indian Sutlej's flow.

Blood has dyed the Sutlej's waves
With scarlet stain, I know;
Indus' borders yawn with graves,
Yet, command me go!

Though rank and high the holocaust
Of nations steams to heaven,
Glad I'd join the death-doomed host,
Were but the mandate given.

Passion's strength should nerve my arm,
Its ardour stir my life,
Till human force to that dread charm
Should yield and sink in wild alarm,
Like trees to tempest-strife.

If, hot from war, I seek thy love,
Darest thou turn aside?
Darest thou then my fire reprove,
By scorn, and maddening pride?

No--my will shall yet control
Thy will, so high and free,
And love shall tame that haughty soul--
Yes--tenderest love for me.

I'll read my triumph in thine eyes,
Behold, and prove the change;
Then leave, perchance, my noble prize,
Once more in arms to range.

I'd die when all the foam is up,
The bright wine sparkling high;
Nor wait till in the exhausted cup
Life's dull dregs only lie.

Then Love thus crowned with sweet reward,
Hope blest with fulness large,
I'd mount the saddle, draw the sword,
And perish in the charge!

"Passion" is reprinted from Poems By Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. Charlotte, Anne, and Emily Bronte. Philadelphia: Lea and Blanchard, 1848.
