As im sure alot of you know a local girl, jessica knight was brutally stabbed last week. It was awful just to hear about it but when i found out my son is her friend i was so shocked and upset...its strange how detached you can feel but how sympathetic you are when some terrible attack or accident happens, but how real and emotional it is when you or your family really knows them. My son was saying that in the summer he spent most of it in the same park with his friends and jess and only a few days ago she was left fighting for her life as some horrible, nasty, vicious man tried to take her life away for nothing! Our thoughts are with Jess and her family and for real punishment to the man in custody for her attempted murder. My son is in a band and their tribute is to try to write her a personal song....now thats what you call friendship. Nothing can take away the pain both Jess and her family have suffered and walking in the park will be very strange....but strength and caring will hopefully see her well again and back in school with all her mates...who miss her dreadfully. Well would you believe it, this young spritely lady is now a step grandma to my fella's son, whose girlfriend oops fiancee has given birth to a bouncing baby boy, weighing in at 6lb 2oz on Wednesday morning at 4.45am. Mum and step son doing well.....but im sure a bit mortified at the prospect of parenthood, he is only 19 and shes 17, but they will learn fast was we parents know....ah the thought of handing a bundle of joy back to its parents....hehheeh. We only have a mobile phone pic but he looks gorgous...he being called Corey....bless. But we are on our way to see him tomorrow....Friday 14 December loaded with gifts etc...cant wait...and neither can his proud grandad....and i am having so much fun teasing steve that hes now a GRANDAD!!!...hehehehe...dont ya just love babies...xxxxx
